PatioSun plug-in solar devices on the ENA register

Every entry PatioSun holds on the ENA register — they all begin PATIO/ — with the reference you can check each one by. Read on 12 September 2026. Whether a particular kit on sale is one of these is a separate question, and the note below says why it is not always answerable from the register alone.

The register holds 6 entries from patiosun under its “Plug-in Solar” device type. Of those, the register records 6 as Compliant. Registered capacity is 0.8 kW. The most recent entry was published 2026-09-01.

What the register records, and what it does not

The status below is the register's own G98 type-test result. It is not a finding that a device meets every part of the DESNZ product specification — the plug, the labelling and the documentation requirements live in the specification and are not what this column reports. A device recorded here as Compliant has cleared the connection standard. It has not thereby been certified against every line of the rules, and this page is not saying any product is legal or illegal to sell.

There is also something the register settles more bluntly than most coverage of it admits. Its own device-category column reads Inverter — for every single entry under this type. G98 is a grid-connection standard, so what gets type-tested is the equipment that connects, and the register files all of these as inverters whatever the manufacturer typed in the model field. Some of those model names are whole kits and some are a bare inverter code. So if a kit you are looking at is not here under its shop name, that does not mean it is unregistered: the part of it that was tested may be listed under somebody else's name, and several entries below say exactly that in the manufacturer's own words.

Statuses change, and a type test is a process with dates in it. This page says what the register said on 12 September 2026. Before you buy, check the register itself.

PatioSun entries recorded as Compliant

6 entries. The device reference is the register's own identifier — it is what you search the register by, and what a supplier should be able to give you. The italic line under a model is what PatioSun themselves wrote on the registration: it is the only place on the public record where the panels, the inverter and the mount are named together, and for 6 of these 6 entries it is more specific than anything on a shop page.

Northern Ireland

Great Britain and Northern Ireland run separate G98 type tests, and the register records them in different columns. Of PatioSun's 6 entries, 0 carry a Northern Ireland type test. So a reader in Belfast should not treat this manufacturer as covered, whatever a "UK" product page says.

This holds across the register as a whole, not just here — see the full register for the totals.

What this page does not tell you

It names no price, no panel wattage and no best buy, and it does not rank PatioSun against anyone. The register carries none of that, and stromFit's product catalogue and household simulation are German — we have no verified British product data and no British tariff basis to compute a saving from. Ordering these devices for you would mean inventing the figures we ranked them on.

For the legal position and where each rule comes from, see plug-in solar in the UK. For the prices we could source from a manufacturer's own store, see what a compliant kit costs.
